About the Assignment
The primary objective of this role is to deliver quality and efficient transactional accounting and reporting services to our key stakeholders throughout the Business, including the Asset Decision Support Teams, Group Finance, Group Taxation, Treasury, Group Insurance, Production Allocation & Commercial.
Tasks include:
- Receipting funds in to the General Ledger
- Managing the Joint Venture cash position through the preparation of timely cash settlements
- Facilitating the settlement and confirmation of Treasury transactions
- Assembling audit data as required
- Preparing and posting actual and accrual journals
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with bank account maintenance
- Participate in process improvement projects across Finance
- Additional activities as required by the Team Leader – JV Services and Financial Controller
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS), Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.
This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.
Location for this assignment is Adelaide, CBD working full-time office hours.
About You
- Previous experience in a transactional processing role is required.
- Previous experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office tools is required.
- Knowledge of shared service centre and centralised finance environments is desired.
- Accounting / Business diploma is desired.
